PORT CLINTON, Ohio An Ohio man has pleaded no-contest to charges stemming from a chain-reaction accident that killed six Detroit-area residents last summer.
Brian Woody of Toledo was charged with six counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of aggravated vehicular assault. He entered the pleas Thursday.
The 29-year-old Woody told police he had two beers at Cedar Point amusement park about nine hours before the June-21st accident.
The victims were all in a Cadillac Escalade and were headed back to Detroit from the amusement park. A 13-year-old Sterling Heights girl was the only person in the sport-utility vehicle to survive.
Woody faces sentencing March-fourth.
